YAKIMA - In Loving memory of Tanya Jean Alires, who passed away from complications of diabetes August 16, 2007 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, with loved ones by her side.
She was born in Yakima on February 20, 1972 to Don and Marti Alires. Tanya attended and graduated from East Valley High School in 1990. Tanya worked for D.S.H.S. for the last 14 years. She also worked for the local Yakima Bears baseball organization where her smile and friendly nature will be missed.
Tanya will be remembered for her love of sports, animals and life.
Tanya is survived by her loving parents, Don and Marti Alires; her brother, Danny Alires; and her boyfriend George Coson.
The Alires family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and care-givers at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital who cared for Tanya during her last difficult months, as well as the many friends who visited and called her while she was in the hospital.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at Keith & Keith 9th Ave Chapel.
