Walter H. Anen Jr. of Morrisville passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at his home in Morrisville. He was 76.
Born in Bristol, Walter was a lifelong Morrisville resident.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Anen was employed as a supervisor with the New Jersey Department of State. Among other things, he enjoyed watching soap operas and playing the lottery.
Son of the late Walter H. Anen Sr. and Catherine (Arnoldi) Anen, and brother of the late David Anen and Jean Speer, Walter is survived by his brother, Harry D. Anen of Levittown, a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie A. and Charles Downs of Levittown, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12 Noon, Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville. The Rev. Bruce Ballantine, interim pastor of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Morrisville. Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral chapel.
