She was born at Covington, Va., on January 10, 1968, the daughter of Kathy (Keeler) Gordon of Buckeye and the late Harold R. Allen.
She is survived by her husband William A. "Bill" Gloshen; two sons, Nicholas Gloshen of Raleigh, N.C., and Brandon Gloshen of Hillsboro; five sisters, Tressa L. Allen of Mauk, Ga., Brenda Peacock of Elkins, Janet K. Gilkerson of Fayetteville, Lesa A. Moore of Lewisburg, and Mary L. Ryder of Buckeye.
Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home, Marlinton. Graveside service will be at Ruckman Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010, Rev. David Gage officiating. Interment will be at Ruckman Cemetery in Buckeye, W.Va.
A Bobbi Gloshen Student Teacher Scholarship has been established with the New River Community and Technical College Foundation. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a student teacher from the Greenbrier Valley Campus's service area in honor of Bobbi's love and commitment to the furthering of the education of children, especially in the area of mathematics. Contributions to the Bobbi Gloshen Scholarship may be sent to: New River Community and Technical College Foundation, 301 B. George Street, Beckley, WV 25801.
