Charlie Dan "C.D." Collins 58, of Jefferson, TX passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA officiated by Bro. Dale Alexander. Burial will follow at Core Cemetery in Gray, TX. There will be a time of visitation on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.

Charlie Dan was a resident of Jefferson for the past 15 years after moving from Vivian. He loved hunting and being in the woods. He loved driving his truck and spending time with his grandkids.

Charlie Dan was preceded in death by his wife Donna Gail Collins and his son Shannon Collins. He is survived by his daughter Teresa Warren of Jefferson, TX, his 4 brothers; John D. Collins Jr., Alton Collins, Tommy Collins and Joe Collins, 5 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lee Hall, David Hall, James Hall, Paul Thompson, John Varnell and Thomas Seabroom.
