Dimple was born on September 10, 1931 and passed from this life on October 4, 2022 in Jefferson, Texas. She married Sidney Ray Comer on March 19, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dock and Susie Bourne, brothers, Thomas Cecil and Billy Bourne, her childhood sweetheart, Sidney Ray Comer and her auntie, Maude Kennedy.
Our Mama was a loving wonderful mother. She was also a loving caring Nanny to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active and faithful member of Gray Baptist Church. Dimple attended Louisiana Tech University and Centenary College. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 627 in Jefferson, Texas. She retired from Atlas Chemical, and American Norit in Marshall, Texas. She lovingly taught her children about the Lord and we have no doubt she is in heaven with Daddy waiting on each of us.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, Louisiana, officiated by Rev. Wayne Shew and Rev. Rickey Jeane. Burial will follow at Core Cemetery in Gray, Texas. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
