Lonnie Franklin, age 68, of Rocky Face, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Genita Franklin; parents, Charlie and Janie Franklin; two brothers, Virgil and William Franklin.
Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Jerome and Sumer Franklin of Chatsworth; sisters, Gracie Morrison, Mollie Carpenter, Becky Millsap all of Rocky Face and Beatrice Morrison of Eton; brother, Buster Franklin of Fairmont; grandchildren, Stephanie Kilgore; Sheyenne and Sidney Davenport and Savannah Smith; great-granddaughter, Bella Davenport; nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Saturday July 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Williams officiating.
Burial will be in White's Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, Friday, July 6, 2012, after 5:00 p.m.
