JEFFERSON - Services for James Arthur McDonald, 61, of Jefferson, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Texas & Louisiana Baptist Association Building, with Brother Claude Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Judea Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. Mr. McDonald died May 7, 2008, at his residence.
Born October 27, 1946, he was a longtime constable for Precinct Three and active member of Judea Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Survivors include his wife, Claudetta McDonald; sons, Allen McDonald and Nicholaus Johnson; daughters, Michelle Evans, Dee Dee McDonald, D'Angela Johnson and Sonya Johnson; brother, Joe McDonald; and sisters, Easter Williams and Clara Adams.
