JEFFERSON - Services for James A. Oliver, 77, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Judea Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Val McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Judea Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. Mr. Oliver died June 30, 2008, in Linden.
He was born September 19, 1930, in Marion County. Survivors include his wife, Cora Oliver; sons, Bishop Osmond Oliver, Michael Oliver and Anthony Oliver; daughters, Kathy Willis, Annette Brown, Sherethe Jones and Betty Love; brothers, Willie, Billy Roy and Horold; and sisters, Rose, Shirley and Vangy.
