Born near Middletown, she was the daughter of Luther L. and Sadie J. Ford Kephart.
She is survived by her husband, F. Burke Babington; two daughters, Mrs. Jack M. Charles of Hagerstown and Mrs. Bernard L. Gaver of Myersville; five sons, Leo E. Babington of Odenton, Harold E. Babington of Gapland, Kenneth B. Babington of Smithsburg, and Gary L. Babington and Richard E. Babington, both of Clevelandville; one brother, Leslie F. Kephart of Hagerstown; and 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Harry Angle will officiate.
Burial will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
