Isabel Alguire age 87 died on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 in Springfield, IL. She was a life long resident of the area, living in Marinette and graduating from Marinette High School then marrying and living in Peshtigo, until 2-1/2 years ago when she went to live with her daughter. She was born on February 18, 1916 daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. James H. (Fredona Leslie) Gray.
She was a secretary at Peshtigo United Methodist Church for many years.
On October 31, 1936 she married Robert C. Alguire in Peshtigo. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1994.
Isabel is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Charles) Kuhns, Springfield, IL; one son, John Thomas Alguire, Tomah, WI; One sister-in-law, Ethel Gray, Marinette
15 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant daughter; two son, James Robert Alguire and Allen Roy Alguire; two sisters, Ella Gray & Margaret Gray; and two brothers, John Gray & Walter Gray
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 6, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Monday morning at the Peshtigo United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Norman Bude will be officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
