Micaela (Moreno) Arredondo was born on September 30, 1934 in Rio Bravo, Coahuila, Mexico to Micaela (Garcia) Moreno and Rafael Moreno. She married Gilberto Aguilera Arredondo on Feb. 8, 1953, in Uvalde. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, a resident of Uvalde; one daughter, Rachel Gonzales-Hanson and husband, Jimmy, of Uvalde; three sons, Gilberto Arredondo Jr. and wife, Soroya, of Leakey, Lee Arredondo and companion, Diane Wooten, of Uvalde and Pete Arredondo and wife, Sofia, of Laredo; daughter–in-law, Stephanie Arredondo; sisters-in-law, Guadalupe Moreno, Elida Moreno and Tanizlada Moreno; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ray Arredondo; four sisters, Maria E. Flores, Maria De Jesus Garza, Francisca Briseño and Blanca Vara; and three brothers, Rafael Moreno, Horacio Moreno and Pedro Moreno.
