John Dane is the son of Thomas Dane and Elizabeth Buchanon Dane, both buried in County Fermanagh. He married Jane Vance March 15 1821 at The Aghavea Church in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. They immigrated to Canada and had at least 10 known children. John and Jane are buried together in Gorrie
