She was born Oct. 5, 1927, in Selinsgrove, a daughter of the late George and Norma (Ramer) Knouse. She was married to Charles W. Mull, who survives.
She was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
Violet was a member Salem Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove.
She enjoyed going to antique shows, doing puzzles, playing card games and collecting.
In addition to her husband, a resident of Grayson View, Selinsgrove, surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Joel Frazier of Georgia, Louise and John Reichenbach of Selinsgrove and Pamela and Donald Erb of Virginia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Ronald Day of Maryland.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Grove.
Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, where a funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Mary Alice Peterhaensel.
Burial will be in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
