Mary Ann (Parker) Arp was born in San Angelo, Texas on November 2, 1945 to Joseph and Ruby Lee (Earnest) Parker. She attended school at Camp Wood and worked at West Texas Utilities of San Angelo in the 1970s as the first female meter reader. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Melvin Parker. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Thomas Arp of Uvalde; daughter, Cindi Crawford and husband, George Henrichson, of Big Wells; son, Tom Arp of Las Vegas, Nev; daughter, Angela Willis and husband, Scott, of Del Rio; son, Jeff Arp and wife, Tammy (her special daughter-in-law), of Uvalde; 11 grandchildren, Jamie, Jessi Posey and husband, Kyle, and Ryan, Amanda, Haley, Aaron, Sydney and Brittany, Jace, Shelton and Shane, Garrett and Brittany; and four great grandchildren, Emma, Mia, Ayden and Ada Lyn. Also left to remember her are lifelong friends, Barbara Kizzar, Faye Nicholes and Ellen Comer; many nieces and nephews; and hospice nurse, Barbara, whom she grew to love.
