Debbie was a Lock Haven High School student who was diagnosed with Leukemia. She always had a kind word or action during the course of her treatment and a big smile. She Loved Life and didn't want to die. Enjoyed dancing, listening to music, swimming, sunbathing, counting stars and driving. Everyone called her "Mario",(after Mario Andretti) because she had a lead foot when driving. She was diagnosed 3 years before her death, and missed her Senior Year at Lock Haven High School. The whole community raised funds to help the family with the expenses related to her treatment and her family stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in NYC to be near her for the last 3 weeks of her life at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Treatment Center. Sadly missed by Family & Friends. She fought bravely until she was taken from us.
