Marie Magdalene Koleber was born in Russell, Kansas to Jacob and Katherine (Mai) Deines. She was born and grew upon the family farm in Wakeeney, Kansas and then moved to Longmont, Eaton and then to Greeley. On June 24, 1928 she married Fredrick Koleber in Wakeeney, Kansas. Mrs. Koleber was a seamstress in Greeley working at J.C. Penny's and at Dodd's Clothing Store. Mrs Koleber enjoyed quilting, crocheting needlework, crafts, travelling, camping and fishing.
Survivors: Three sons; Melvin Koleber and wife Molly of Lakewood, Kenneth Koleber and wife Sylvia of Denton, Texas and Darrell Koleber and wife Sharon of Loveland. 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Martha Mai of Sharon Springs, Kansas, and a half sister Elfrieda Graham of Washington.
Preceded in death by: Her parents, spouse, granddaughter Susanna Heidler, two sisters three brothers, two half-sisters and a half-brother.
Visitation: Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Adamson West Chapel.
Service: Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Adamson West Chapel.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, Colorado.
A reception will be held at the Adamson Reception Center following the graveside service.
