Thomasina Annette Bradford, 44, of Charlottesville, and formerly of Plainfield, New Jersey, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, June 3, 2010, at her residence.

She was born in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Betty Jean Bradford and James Faulk.

She received her formal education in Pomona, California, at Pomona High School. She worked as a crossing guard for the Charlottesville Police Department. She was a devoted mother, sister, daughter and grandmother.

Thomasina leaves to cherish her memories a stepmother, Margaret Faulk of Irvington, New Jersey; one son, Isaiah Bradford of Charlottesville; five daughters, Jaquice, Jahniece, Lyniece, Basimah and Shaniece Bradford, all of Charlottesville; three brothers, Michael Kornegay of Montclair, New Jersey, Keith Kornegay of East Orange, New Jersey, and Timothy Bradford of Charlottesville; and two sisters, Taunya Bradford McDonald of Charlottesville and Toretta Bradford Wyatt of Plainfield, New Jersey; one aunt, Aneeta Bradford of Birmingham, Alabama, three grandchildren and one on the way, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held Monday, June 14, 2010, at Mt. Zion First African Baptist Church with Bishop Robert Michie officiating.

Interment at Riverview Cemetery.
