John Edward Keeler, 48, of
Logansport, was fatally shocked
Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1977, at Erny’s
Fertilizer Service, Inc., Clymers,
when he touched a high voltage
line. He died at 2:55 p.m. at
Memorial Hospital.
Born in Burrows, Oct. 7, 1928,
he was the son of Ora and Marie
Plant Keeler. His occupation was
installing electrical meters for
the city utility of Logansport.
He attended thè Deer Creek
school. He was a member of and
past commander of the American
Legion, and BPOE No. 66 at
Logansport.
Surviving with the wife, the
former Lois M. Siegfried, are two
sons, Edward of Logansport and
John (Joe) at home; one
daughter, Mrs. Pamela Clem of
Logansport, one grandchild.
Funeral services were Friday
under the auspices of the
American Legion with Rev.
Father Maurice Miller officiating.
Burial was in Mount
Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Kroeger Funeral Home,
Logansport, was in charge of
arrangements.
