Chris Paulsen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after his courageous battle with brain cancer. He graduated from San Leandro High in 1975. Chris was an athlete all through high school and into his adulthood. He had a love of all sports and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. Chris also loved vacationing with family, attending Raider games, and going to concerts. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Philip Paulsen. He is survived by his loving mother, Peggy Paulsen. Chris was a caring father to his two daughters and proud grandfather to two grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Philip, and sister-in-law, Gail. Many other family members and lifelong friends will miss him greatly. His strong spirit and love will live on forever in each of us. His celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 11, 2011 at 11:00am at the San Ramon Golf Club, 9430 Fircrest Lane, San Ramon, CA 94583.
