LT. A. E. HAINEY IS KILLED ON AIR MISSION IN INDIA
1st LT. Albert E. Hainey,20, was killed July 18 while on a mission over India. his mother Mrs. Albert F. Hainey, 6347 S. Marshfield av., was informed yesterday by the war department. During four months of action in the China-Burma-India area he was awarded two distinguished flying crosses and four air medals, and was commended in a special letter from his commending officer. Lt. Hainey was graduated from Lindblom High school in 1942 and entered the air force immediately. Surviving are his parents Albert and Emily, one brother, Raymond and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Tesmond.
