Mario Lovisone ran a Dry Creek Valley grape and prune ranch. He was married for 50 years to Josephine Lovisone and was employed for many years as a concrete worker at the Alameda Naval Air Station. While living in Oakland, he was active in the Colombo Club and served as its President. Also while residing in Oakland, they purchased a ranch in the Dry Creek Valley, west of Healdsburg. They came to the ranch as time allowed until 1970, when he retired from civil service. The couple moved onto the ranch that same year. He worked the ranch with his wife's help until his death. He was survived by his wife, Josephine Lovisone, their daughters, Dolores Lovisone House of Santa Rosa and Vicki Lovisone Wallace of Healdsburg; their son, Edward Lovisone of Hayward; and six grandchildren.

A native of Oakland; aged 74. Retired federal employee having worked as Leaderman for 30 years for the Alameda Air Station, retiring to Healdsburg in 1970. Past President of the Colombo Club of Oakland. A member of St. John's Parish, Healdsburg.

Friends are invited to attend Recitation of the Rosary Wednesday evening, March 27, at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of FRED YOUNG & CO, Healdsburg. Friends are also invited to attend funeral services Thursday morning, March 28, at 9:30 a.m. from the Chapel of FRED YOUNG & CO, Healdsburg, thence to St. John's Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated commencing at 10:00 a.m. Interment Oak Mound Cemetery, Healdsburg. Funeral parking entrance Matheson St. Donations to the Heart Association appreciated.
