Opal L. Schuler

Opal L. Schuler was born near Severy, October 7, 1899, to J. M. and Nancy Elizabeth Love, and passed away June 14, 1973 in Wesley Hospital, Wichita.

She was married to Dave Schuler at Ness City in September 1921. She was a member of the Piedmont United Methodist Church, a member of the Retired Teachers of Hawaii and National Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include two brothers and two sisters, Raleigh Love of El Dorado, Mrs. Verna Benedict of Eureka, and Jock Love and Clarice Masterson, both of Piedmont; one sister-in-law, Mary Love of El Dorado; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 17, at the Forsberg Funeral Home, Severy. Burial was in South Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. R. F. Schaechtele was officiating clergyman.
