Funeral of Major L.L. Bell
The funeral of Major L.L. Bell, who died Sunday morning was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Methodist church in charge of the Rev. W.W. Bollinger, pastor of the Grace Methodist church. At the close of the service the impressive flag service in charge of the Ladies of the G.A.R. Circle was given.

A quartet composed of Miss Anna Hinshaw, Miss Nona Muchmore, Byron White and Ralph Templin, sang three selections, "Lead Kindly Light," "God Moves in a Mysterious Way," and "Nearer My God to Thee," accompanied by Miss Lebina Leighty at the piano.

Major Bell was the last of a family of ten children and is survived by his wife, a son Roscoe Bell, an attorney of this city, and a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Bell Turner, a teacher in the schools at Raton, N.M.

He was a member of the Zenia G.A.R. Post of Zenia O.

Burial was made in Graham cemetery.
