Lastly married to Marquerite McKim. This man was my husbands grandfather. He was born in Kansas as Bert Winfield McKim was adopted and his name was changed to Charles Edgar Smith.He married Martha Moore near or around Marquette, Kansas, they had John Smith, Kristen Smith and Nace Smith. After "the war" he eventually took back the McKim name. As he had some sort of memory loss they called him Jack or Clyde hence the name Jack Clyde McKim. His life would have made a good movie, or so it seems.
