Elizabeth Margaret JOHNSON was born on January 11, 1882, in La Plata, Macon Missouri, her parents are James William and Mary Mary Ann Martha (McCarty) Johnson. She married George Milton BAITY on Nov 27, 1989 in LaPlata, Macon, Missouri and they had six children together, George William Baity, Unknown Baby, Mary Jane Baity (Johnson/Kretsch/Walker), John D. Baity, Claude Burel Baity, Clarence Milton Baity. They moved to Kansas May 6, 1910 & settled in Little Walnut Township, Butler, Kansas. Then were then in Cowley, Kansas by 1915 and Arkansas, Cowley, Kansas by 1920. Her husband George died in 1923 and she then married Fred W. BRANT in 1928 in Arkansas City, Cowley, Arkansas. She died on December 30, 1944, in Long Beach, Los Angeles, California, at the age of 62, and was buried in Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City, Cowley, Kansas. Most of her life she went by the name Lizzie.
