Christian Bigler
Christian Bigler, 79, Millersburg Route 5, died at 12:30 a.m. today in Pomerene Memorial hospital, Millersburg, after a long illness.
Born Sept. 3, 1881, a son of Fred and Lizzie Bigler, he was married March 30, 1909 to Amanda Crilow, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Vera Maxwell and Miss Esther Bigler Millersburg Route 5, and Mrs. Inez Walters, Holmesville; five sons, Donald, Millersburg, Ollin, Massillon, Ralph of Shreve, Clarence of Wooster, and Floyd of Parma Heights; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Burkey, Sugarcreek; two brothers, William of Millersburg Route 1, and John of Orrville.
Mr. Bigler was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Millersburg where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Charles Zechiel. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Millersburg.
Friends will be received at the Hunter funeral home in Millersburg Wednesday afternoon and evening.
