Miss Anna E. Vorwerk
Lorain – Miss Anna E. Vorwerk, 88, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at her home, 1118 West Erie Ave. She had been in failing health.
Miss Vorwerk had lived in Lorain 81 years, coming from Millersburg where she was born Feb. 20, 1869. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Martha Circle of the church, the WCTU and the DAR.
Survivors are a sister, Miss Grace Vorwerk with whom she made her home, and five nieces.
Friends will be received at the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ralph M. Gray, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
