Woman, 63, Is Claimed Sunday at Millersburg
Mrs. Albert E. Walters, age 63, died at her home in Millersburg Sunday evening at 8 o'clock following a six years' illness of cancer.
Ellen C. Shaffer, daughter of the late Henry and Ernestine Shaffer, was born in Millersburg on February 30, 1869, and spent her entire life in Holmes co. She was a member of the English Lutheran church.
Ellen Shaffer was married to Albert E. Walters in December, 1906, and to this union were born two sons, Bert and Blake, both of Millersburg. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.J. Getz and Mrs. Elsworth Lemmon, both of Millersburg, and a brother, William Shaffer of Gary, Ind.
The funeral will be conducted from the late home Wednesday at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Leon in charge. Burial will be made in the Oak Hill cemetery.
NOTE: Helen was actually the stepmother to Albert's sons: Joseph Bert and Oliver Blake Walters.
