Major League Baseball Player. The left-handed-hitting outfielder had a .308 lifetime batting average during his eight years in the major leagues. He made his debut by playing 10 games with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1921. Three years later, he was with Washington for 15 games. Richbourg waited three more years before getting a shot with the Boston Braves. He hit .309, .337, .305 and .304 during his first four years with them. In 1928 he had 206 hits, including 26 doubles and 12 triples. He finished his career with the Chicago Cubs in 1932. The Richbourg Middle School in Crestview was named after him.
