Marcella Mary Zappone, 71, of Canton, and formerly of Millersburg, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22, 2001, at Arbors of Canton Nursing Home,, following an extended illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
She was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Millersburg, to Budge and Eliza Barbara (Browand) Kaser. She first married Garrett Hobat Jarvis. He died in 1988.
Surviving are four children, Charles E. Jarvis of Orrville, Barbara Jean Jarvis Stretch Trumphour of Apple Creek, Bonnie Sue Zappone Bretz Armentrout of Orrville and Jenny Lou Zappone of Huntington, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Fraelich of Cuyahoga Falls and ex-husband, Dennis Vincent Zappone.
