Emanuel J. "Chopper" Yoder, 67, Millersburg, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 19, 2011, at Wooster Community Hospital, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with pastor James Butler officiating

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour before the service Monday.

He was born Oct. 12, 1944, in Holmes County and was the son of John H. and Emma (Miller) Yoder. On July 9, 1986, he married Angie Calderone and she survives.

He was a truck driver most of his life for J. Pallet-All of Millersburg and worked five years for Wayne-Dalton of Mount Hope. Emanuel enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children and their spouses, Keith (Ro) Yoder of Millersburg and Kevin (Jill) Yoder of Clark; four stepchildren, Robert Ringler of Millersburg, Jeff (Bonnie) Ringler of Millersburg, Renee (Victor) Brown of Clarksville, Tenn., and Michelle Floyd of Reynoldsburg; six grandchildren, Amanda, Jarrett, Rachelle, Kelsey, Brandon and Allison; seven step-grandchildren, Catline, Austin, Ashley, Bobby Jr., Cory, Lashaya and Kobi; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Esther (Ferdinand) Stutzman of Millersburg; a brother, Roy (Linda) Yoder of Wooster; and his stepmother, Fannie (Raber) Yoder of Millersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepmother, Lydia, two brothers, William and Melvin, a sister, Lizzie, and a grandson, Darren.
