Charles A. Carnahan, 84, Mad Anthony St, Millersburg, died Tuesday evening at Pomerene Memorial hospital, Millersburg, following a long illness.
Born May 11, 1879, in Holmes county. Mr. Carnahan, a retired farmer, was a son of Samuel and Rebecca Ling Carnahan, and was married in 1925 to Ethel Shearn, who survives.
Surviving besides the widow are a son, Porter of Canton, a step-daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller of Ashland, a brother, Edward of Millersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Carpenter of Killbuck and Mrs. Earl Keiffaber of Coshocton, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Seven brother and sisters are deceased.
