Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Killbuck VFW.
A private burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born on July 24, 1921 in Ashville, Ohio, and was the son of James Bates and Mae Marie (Hickman) Alexander. He was a devoted husband to Dollie Ann Riffle, and she preceded him in death, Jan. 24, 2002.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in both Africa and Italy. Jim was a faithful member of the Faith Bible Church of Millersburg. He was also a past president of Millersburg Rotary and a past member of the Spartan Lodge 126 F & AM of Millersburg.
He was the owner and operator of Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg, working along side his son and grandchildren as a licensed funeral director and embalmer for many years until his retirement.
He loved spending time with his family, reading his Bible, and listening to Gaither music.
Jimmy, you were one of a kind, and you are "our rock" and you will be missed beyond measure.
He is survived by two children and their spouses, Ronald L. and Angie Alexander of Millersburg, and Debbie and Jeff Baker of Galena, Ohio; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jamie and Brandee Alexander, Tiffany and Jerry Rouse, Jake and Rachel Alexander, Jason and Candy Baker, and Mary and David Taylor; and seven great-grandchildren, Madison and Nadia Rouse, Jed and Alicia Alexander, Preston and Peyton Baker and Latham Taylor. He is also survived by special nieces and a nephew, Merrily (Glenn) Williams of Circleville, Ohio, Dianne (Martin) Frankel of The Villages, Florida, and Nicholas (Sheila) Nance of Circleville, Ohio; and several great- and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Donald Hilda Nance, and a nephew, James D. Nance.
Philippians 3:20-21: But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
