Funeral services for Gene "Dizzy" Davis, 27, will be held at 2 pm on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Vivian, LA. Officiating will be Hospice Chaplain Larry Bass. Interment will follow at Core Cemetery in Gray, TX. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the funeral home.

Dizzy was born December 25, 1982 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on January 15, 2010 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was a life-long resident of Mooringsport, LA and he was Baptist. One of his special interest was playing on-line computer games with his friends.

Dizzy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Labern and Allie Hartzo and Harold and Martha Colgin, favorite uncles Glen Dale and Thomas Hartzo and favorite aunt Lucy Powers also preceded him.

His mother Jane Davis of Mooringsport, LA and his father Donald Davis also of Mooringsport, special friend Kayli Bell of Massachusetts, and special brothers, Joseph Dickey, Kevin Carter and Joshua Drane, survives him.
