Hallie Louise Davis, 95, of Trees City, LA passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday; July 14, 2019 at Trees Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Crook. Burial will follow at Core Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA.
Mrs. Davis was born December 24, 1923 in Mooringsport, LA to Walter Little and Geneva Maie Bagley Little. She lived in Trees City, LA most of her life. Louise was a member of Gray Baptist Church, where she loved to sing specials. She loved reading her bible, working jigsaw puzzles, and playing board games, especially Trouble.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Harwood Davis, and her 4 sisters; Inez Little, Juanita Player, Tessie Dee Nall, and Winnie Hartzo. She is survived by her 6 children; Patricia Juanez Beene, and husband Hugh of Vivian, LA, Carol Ann Jones and husband Kenneth of Nacogdoches, TX, Ronnie Davis and wife Janice of Vivian, LA, Reggie Davis of Etoile, TX, Randy Davis and wife Melinda of Trees City, LA, and Johnny Davis and wife Connie of Blanchard, LA, her 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jamison Davis, Brandon Davis, Barry Davis, Dalton Davis, Seth Stanfield, and Justin Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be Rodney McCarty.
