A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.
After the memorial service, a scattering ceremony will be held at his home on the Edisto River.
Mr. Norris was born July 3, 1952, in Independence, Mo. and was a son of Lindy Irvin Norris and Bonnie June Moore Knight.
He was an employee of the City of Walterboro in the Water Waste Management Department. Guy was an avid golfer who also loved to read and to cook; but will be remembered most as a loving son and brother, someone who cherished his friends, and as a person who loved giving to others.
Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Moore Knight of Ridgeville; father, Lindy Irvin Norris of Columbia; sisters, Jacqueline Osborn of Independence, Missouri and Vicki Norris of Swansea.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Mark Elliott Norris and Anthony Stewart Norris.
