New Ellenton, SC- Mr. Estese Keen, 96, of New Ellenton, beloved husband of forty-four years to Sylvia Boyd Powell Keen, entered into rest on Sunday, August 21st, 2011.
Born in Dublin, GA, he was a resident of Savannah until 1951, when he relocated to New Ellenton. Estese stopped in New Ellenton on his way to California and never left. He was known by many as a "Master Builder," having built many homes and businesses in New Ellenton. Estese and Sylvia loved to garden and fish.
In addition to his spouse, additional survivors include four children.
At his request, Estese will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
It has been requested that flowers not be sent and that memorials may be made to United Hospice, 211 York St., NE, Aiken, SC 29801.
The Hatcher Funeral Home, US Hwy. #1, Langley, South Carolina is assisting the Keen family with the arrangements.
