Giuseppina was born in Italy, married and came to America in the early 1956. She was pregnant with her first child when she came here, a boy, named Luigi born in March 1956 and who died two days after being born. He is also at Holy Rood. She was heartbroken, but went on to have six more children. She was a very loving and over protective mother, only cause she loved so much. She was a stay at home Italian mother who raised her kids, did all household chores, and cooked pasta and sauce with meatballs every Sunday. Her greatest pride was her seven grandchildren, whom she lived for in her last years of her life. Giuseppina loved to cook for family, she loved to dance at weddings and have a good time, she loved perfume, beautiful dresses, espresso coffee, going to church, Christmas and giving candy out to kids on Halloween, spending time with her cousins, making homemade pizza on Friday afternoons, and rocking her grandbabies to sleep in her arms. Giuseppina is sorely missed by her husband, her children and grandkids, extended family and friends. She died from a sudden massive heart attack at age 68. She is survived by her husband Angelo(Mike), her children,Mary,Vincent,James,Joseph,John, and me, Diane. Her beloved grandchildren,Peter,Jessica,Melanie,Michael(my son) twins Matthew and Michelle and David... Mom this tribute is for you. You deserve this and so much more.
You are always on our minds and forever in our hearts....
We love you!!! Until we meet again Mom, in the other life. In the meantime we will see you in our dreams when we sleep. We feel your presence and spirit with us all the time. I love you Mommy!!!
