Champ was adopted as a kitten from the S.P.C.A. in Pasco, Washington. Champ passed away January 11, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas.

Champ was a cherished family pet to Mom, Dad and Marissa for over 14 years. He was a devoted friend to our other pets, Onyx, Patches and Embers, with Embers being the only surviving pet friend.

Champ was a large, loyal, loving, docile, "gentle giant". He openly welcomed other pet friends to our family.

We will dearly miss Champ's happy, loving, loyal disposition. We will miss his ability to know we were upset and come to us and calm us with his presence. We will miss his contented purr and the way he reached out with his front paw and tapped us on the arm or leg a couple of times, when we were busy and he wanted our attention. We will miss his "unconditional love" and ability to trust so completely.

My wish is that Champ will be at peace and perhaps having an eternal nap in the sunshine. I hope to be with him again one day.

We are heartbroken by his loss and he can never be replaced and will never be forgotten.

Hugs, kisses and many scratches under the chin "Champy Boy"!!

We love and Miss you!!

"Heavenly Father, creator of all things, thank you for having entrusted with us a loyal pet. Thank you for letting them teach us unselfish love. Thank you for the memories that we may recall to help brighten our days for the rest of our lives. Finally, in gratitude we return our pet to you. Amen
