Muffin was a precious girl who loved to be petted. She was a big orange ball of fluff, with bright green eyes. Muffy was always kind, always loving & she brought joy to all she knew. Muffin loved her big brother Dewey and he loved her.

When I came home last night, I found Muffin in her bed meowing at me as she always did. She wanted her Mommy to kiss and hug her. I picked her up and held her. When I put her back on her bed she tried to get up to eat some dinner. Her hind legs were wobbly, she was unsteady......and I knew.
I sat with her until the early hours, petting her, kissing her, begging God.
Finally I went to bed only to wake up 4 hours later. I knew I would have to get Muffin from her bed. No way could she come to my bedroom as she did every other morning for she was too weak.
I opened my door to find Muffin laying outside it, she had stood up only to take one step and fall down....over and over and over...until she came from the front of the house to my bedroom.
I held Muffin so close wanting to take her into me forever. As I pulled the covers off my bed and found her favorite blanket to lay her on, she purred and hugged me, giving her love as she lay dying.
I placed a million kisses on her head as I told her I Love You. Calling her Sweetheart I petted her beautiful bright orange fur. Dialing the vet and choking on the words I somehow said
This is Muffin's Mom
I have to bring her in.
Muffin stays in my heart. She is reunited with her loving brother Dewey and together with our animal family she waits for me to join them again. I thank God for the time we shared.
