My precious little cat passed away September 14, 2011 at 4:25 PM this evening. Our hearts are still broken from recently losing Amber and Chico and now Cinny.

He would have been 12 years old next month, and he was so precious to us. When he was a kitten he would climb the drapes and tear them down from the brackets. Clair would always hang them back up when we came home and found them down. I thought he would never grow out of that. He did quite climbing the drapes when he was a year old.

Cinny liked to be held like a baby and was as spoiled as could be. I always told him he was king of the house and he acted like it. I called him my Cin song, the song of my heart. All through the years he brought so much joy into my life.

He was fine early this morning but he was meowing much more than usual. I told him to come get in bed with me and he did. After a while he got up and sat in my power chair for a while. I told him I was glad he liked my chair and he was welcome to sit in it. He got up and went to eat his breakfast he jumped on the counter and stayed there.

Later when he came into the living room he was crying. My husband saw that Cinny could not move his back legs he dragged them behind him. I picked my little boy up in my arms, and his legs flopped. I cried so hard as I asked my husband what had happened to my little boy. He called the vet and they said to bring him right in.

The vet said it was a blood clot that came from his heart, went down his back, split, and went into his back legs and lodged there. The vet said he saw a few cats with the blood clots like that. He went on to tell us even though they were treated they never recovered.

With broken hearts Clair and I stayed with Cinny while they put him to sleep. We told him we loved him, what a good boy he had always been, and to run to the Rainbow Bridge to the others. We will miss you so much my sweet Cinny song of my heart. Mama might not be to far behind you play and have fun until I get there.

We lost our Quaker parrot Chico June 21, 2011

My minature Schnauzer Snookie 1994-2004

Our chihuahua Chili Bean 1994-2004

If I don't get my healing my little Cinny will soon be with his mama Ann Howard

Angel In The Sky

There is a star in Heaven
and on it is a place,
that's been reserved for you since birth
a place meant for your name.

This star has watched you through the years
but it could not stand alone,
it rested high on angel wings
awaiting your trip home.

You slipped away, I held you close,
your soul flowed through my heart,
I felt your last breath through my tears
I felt your pain depart.

Tonight I looked up to the sky
and there for me to view
was one lone star shining bright
your name was shining too.

You were my angel on this earth,
you're my angel in the sky.
Wait for me, someday you'll see
our names shine side by side.
