Son of William Elliff and Alice Streeter - Has 6 other siblings.

Baptised at Saint Luke's in Croydon, Surrey on the 5th of July 1885.

1901 Census: Living with parents and 6 siblings at 42 Whitehorse Road in South Norwood. Frederick's occupation is a Domestic Gardener.

In 1910 Frederick married Lilian Florence Standishe in Croydon, Surrey.

1911 Census: Living 97a Ecclesbourne Road Thornton Heath, with wife Lilian and married for 1 year with no children. Frederick's occupation is General Gardener Private Service.

On the 20th of October 1913 their first son, Ronald Frederick James Elliff was born. Followed by a second son, Eric Francis Ernest Elliff. Born on the 18th September 1915.

Joined the Military about 1914. Rank: Rifleman Regiment: Royal Irish Rifles Battalion: 14th Battalion Number: 41683 Formerly 7462, 5th Bedford Regt. Western European Theatre.

Awarded Victory Medal and British Medal.

Frederick died of wounds.

Wife Lilian never remarried.

Fredericks younger brother Thomas died during war service in Israel - 12 Dec 1917.
Another younger brother, Ernest died during war service in France - 19 May 1917.
A cousin, Arthur George Elliff died during war service in France - 19 Sep 1918.
