A WWII Veteran who was in the U.S. Army for two tours of duty; he enlisted in 1944, serving until 1946 & re-enlisting in 1946, serving until 1949, recieving an honorable discharge. He was a Technician Fifth Grade Company B 51st Armored Infantry Battalion, having served under General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge during the European Theatre of the war.
