He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley G. Wright, his daughter: Kim Williamson, sons: Wayne and Craig Curry, two grandchildren: Julia and Christian Curry, and sister: Jean Shepperly.
He graduated from Penn State with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. Upon graduating, he was recruited by the U. S. Army to work in Los Alamos, NM to use his talents in the development of the atomic bomb. After the WWII, he received a Master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware. Later, he moved to Woodstown, NJ, where he raised his family and spent most of his career working for DuPont. Upon his retirement, he moved to South Carolina, where he was active at the McGregor Presbyterian Church and The Shepherd's Center of Ashland.
Throughout his life, he was involved in the U. S. Transuranium and Uranium Registries, which studies the long term health effects of uranium exposure; as part of that project. He donated his body to further scientific research.
