Second Officer William Charles Lyndon (John) Humphrey.

Aged 26.

Only son of William Edward Humphrey [1883-1962] and Harriet Violet Jane Lyndon Humphrey [1885-], of Frankby, Cheshire.
M.A.(Cantab).

His death was registered in North Cotswold District, Gloucestershire.
It is believed that he was piloting a Spitfire which crashed in bad weather.
