An obituary published in the Shelbyville Democrat on January 26, 1928 for Mrs. M. S. Andes, states that she died at the family home, Saturday, January 21. Loye S. Miller, daughter of W. H. and Sarah A. Miller was born June 8, 1867 in Pana, Illinois, and came to Shelbyville with her parents in 1881 where her father was a member of the firm of Johnson and Miller implement dealers. She was united in marriage on the second day of November, 1887 to Mark Stoneman Andes and to this union two daughters were born. Mrs. Andes was preceded in death by her mother and her only sister, Lulu. Surviving were her aged father, W. H. Miller, her husband, M. S. Andes and two daughters, Lulu Elizabeth Andes at home and Mrs. J. L. Hasenpflug of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services were held from the family home with Rev. J. E. Tuschhoff officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery.
