Lance Cpl. Dustin Robert Fitzgerald, 22, of Huber Heights, OH, died in a non-combat related vehicle incident. He was assigned to Battalion Landing Team 1/2, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Camp Lejeune, NC.
He was the son of Michael J. and Melody J. Fitzgerald. Dustin was a graduate of Wayne High School Class of 2000.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Brandon M. of Fairborn, Shannon P. of Huber Heights; maternal grandparents, Judy and Tom McCann of Yellow Springs; paternal grandfather, Frank Fitzgerald of Leoti, KS.; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Jones of Kettering; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Donna Fitzgerald.
