David Ray McIntyre, 63, went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016. He was born June 16, 1953 to the late J. Vaughn and Eloise McIntyre.
Upon graduating from Independence High School and CPCC, David began his 40 year career in the food industry, where he had formed many cherished and lasting friendships. He loved meeting his tennis buddies every Saturday morning, playing golf, fishing, walking his dog KK, cheering on his Duke Blue Devils and the Carolina Panthers.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Griffith McIntyre; children, Stefanie (Scott) Fields and Heather McIntyre; grandchildren, Chase Fields and Callie Fields; brother, Larry McIntyre and his sister, Karen Denise McIntyre.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 23rd of November, 2016 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227 with a visitation held after the service.
