Mrs. Katharine H. Farmer, daughter of W. B. [William Benton] and Mary [Crockett] Hawkins, of Franklin county, Ky., was born July 1st, 1814. Married Sept. 17th, 1835 to John G. Farmer, of the same county, by Elder W. C. Blanton. Baptized June 1842 by Elder E. G. Berry, into the fellowship of the Baptist church at Christiansburg, Shelby County, Ky. Died Nov. 1st, 1851 in connection with the same church.
