In the beginning of April, Narika, a beautiful lioness and mother of three cubs was killed by angry moran warriors, -their actual name. This after they assumed she was the lioness responsible for the killing of two goats in the Orngosua. This is one of the conflict-prone zones in the Mbirikani Group Ranch. An area where people and wild animals clash. Narika was speared to death, this is their custom. Narika was the leader of the pride made of three lionesses and their cubs, all who have small cubs of around the same age as Narika's three cubs. She was the strongest of the group and so beautiful by all accounts. Her three cubs, who at the time of their mother's killing were less than a month old, still have not been found, they are feared dead. Also Narika's companion Lomunyak is searching for her by roaring desperately for her missing pride member.
